Thanks to your generous donations, Tegemeza was able to feed over 140 families from the Nairobi slums, in November, 2021.

Jan and our Kenyan team (Tim and Humphrey) had very long, hot, and rewarding days of serving others. The heartbreaking stories they heard while witnessing hope, love and gratitude were both devastating and inspiring.  

Our food baskets contained: cooking oil, Ugali (maize staple), chipati, baking flour, rice, beans, sugar, tea, spaghetti, fresh fruit and vegetables, hand sanitizer, masks, 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste, and soap.
